About

Title

“I grew up in the 60s and 70s alongside a loving dad and mom and three older siblings in a modest home with a 2-party phone line and a black and white TV. My first love was Lobo, our family dog.

One of my earliest epiphanies arose in second grade: I was born to write; yet my childhood fantasy was to be a concert pianist. Downhill skiing is one of the most rewarding skills I learned during high school because it’s liberating and traversing snowy trails with family and friends each winter is fun and heartwarming.

One of the greatest gifts of being married to my husband is birthing two beautiful children into this world. I view the glass always half full and cherish life’s unexpected treasures. After graduating from Binghamton University with a degree in English Rhetoric with emphasis on Journalism, I worked many decades in corporate America.

At 49, a dreamy wave of inspiration propelled me to write a musical. Even though I was a neophyte in musical theatre, I didn’t hesitate to pursue the calling. I suppose it was my innocent confidence and the fact that my mother accused me of starting projects and not finishing them – that made me unstoppable to the point of Ascend the Musical premiering Spring 2017. That same year, I left my corporate job to experience retirement at 55 with no limits on a personal goal of leaving a lasting legacy through music and writing and touching people’s lives in a positive and inspiring vein.”
